Ballyraven is an Appalachian artist and author from southern Ohio; she researches, describes, and illustrates cryptids, myths, superstitions, and the paranormal. In her free time, she goes fossil hunting or plays Scrabble.

Michael Strayer is a childrens book author and podcaster from West Virginia. He writes fun books about strange creatures for young people and is also co-host on Mothboys which is a comedy podcast on all things weird. In his free time he goes on adventures and spends time with his family.
